27/7/2004 20:40 tatah מאת: update: what a high beta really means in the end כותרת: Hi, In continuation of my saga of last week, http://www.leida.co.il/message.asp?qt=27303 Well, it would seem there are other reasons for a high beta value and no pregnancy in the uterus. Today I was in my regular doctor, and the pregnancy is going well, the yolk sac appeared and we even "think" we saw a heartbeat (it is really early since last week there was nothing to see). The thing is, there is another, rather small pregnancy sac, beside the nice one. Meaning, twins. I can't tell you I am overjoyed. This a very high risk pregnancy as it is, and the stress level is not low. It is not really news, as soon as I was out of the woods from last week's emergency, I started thinking or this other obvious reason for high Beta HCG value. So, I am coming back last week to see if baby 2 is also developing. There is a certain concern for his fate since I am almost 7 weeks now, but nothing to do but to wait quietly another week.
