pumping for a new born

Shalom Banot,
Sorry again for the English... I must get Hebrew fonts installed, so I can also enjoy the search engine on this useful forum... I have a few issues I would really like help with:
Dor was born August 5th (now 3.5 weeks old). I’m not breast feeding him, as after 1 week of trying (and him drastically loosing weight) and two home visits with Doris S. (who was great) - he still doesn’t catch the teat properly. I am pumping (using Medela mini-electric) so at least he gets my milk – and for the first 1.5 weeks we fed him using a finger and syringe, but put him on bottle about a week ago. I am still trying to put him on my breast every few feeds (not planning to give up hope…), but see no improvement so far. He starts suckling, and then let’s go crying as nothing comes out…
So to my questions: 1) I manage to pump every 3 hours for 30 minutes (when he lets me… :) but cannot keep up with his growing volume. I get to 60-80 cc per time (started off with less then 10 cc…) and give him Similac during other feeds (1-2 times out of 8-9 feeds a day). I am taking Prolactic (drops, as the capsules are not available). Does anyone have an idea how I can increase the amount of milk I’m producing? 2) Can he over eat this way? We feed him whenever he asks however much he wants, and are way above the 150cc per kg… He started a bit small (2.99kg) so maybe he is making up? At the beginning we insisted he eat every 3 hours or so (for two days), until he started gaining weight. 3) Any ideas what else I can do to get him to breast feed ? (we went over all the possible positions with Doris, maybe something else?) 4) Any success stories on getting a bottle-baby back on the breast? (I need some encouragement, this pumping thing 4 hours a day is no joy…)
Thanks, Or
PS For those of you who read my previous note about turning a breech – after trying every alternative option available, we decided to give the conventional external procedure a chance (in Meir w/ Dr Kaneti) and turned him in the 28th week. We had an AMAZING natural birth in Tel Hashomer with Iris Bedark as our midwife – we spent a lot of time working at home, and arrived with 7cm, spent 1h in the Jacuzzi and he was out in 3hs… An amazing experience. Breech moms – don’t give up hope!
