Hey Julia,
Very often I have seen that a 4200 baby is really only 3800 or 4000, and you are not a tiny woman, so trust your body. Stay home as long as you can, meaning until contractions are every 3 minutes, really hurt a lot, and last a full minute, then go into the shower and stay for an hour at least. That is if this is your first birth. If it is your second birth, then wait till they are every 5 minutes lasting a minute. This way you will probably have a nice big dilation when you get to the hospital. The biggest mistake women make is when they go fivetoo early to the hospital, like going when the contractions are every 5 minutes in a first birth. Birth takes time and you need patience and trust.
