You have the option of just staying home and caring about hygiene, washing hands before pad changes, and not having sex or any vaginal exams, taking temperature every 4 hours, and either it is not water ( if your pads remain dry) or just sweat (common in summer) or just discharge (common in ninth month), or you will go into labor spontaneously. If you have fever, you must go to hospital. It is very common to have damp panties in the ninth month in summer, and it is not water. I don't know of any such pads that tell if it is water or not. There are sticks with cotton on the end that turn a certain color but they are not accurate either. If they didn''t find anything in hospital it wasnt' water so just relax. If it is water, there will be lots and you will know.
